Marketing website
The marketing site is designed to use first-party usage analytics so we can understand page visits, clicks, referral sources and whether people move from the public website into the BudgetShape app. We do not intend to launch with third-party advertising pixels, session-recording tools or keystroke capture.
Anonymous session storage
The first-party analytics design uses browser session storage for an anonymous session identifier and permitted attribution values. Session storage is scoped to the browser tab/session and is not intended to create a persistent cross-site advertising profile. First-party analytics is enabled on the marketing site and sends privacy-minimised events to BudgetShape's own AWS-hosted collection endpoint.
What the analytics design avoids
The marketing event stream is designed not to record calculator monetary inputs, typed form values, passwords, app budget contents or arbitrary keystrokes. Browser privacy signals are respected by default.
BudgetShape application
The signed-in web application uses an essential secure session cookie so the service can recognise an authenticated session. This cookie is required for login and account-security functionality.
Future advertising or third-party analytics
If we introduce Google Analytics, Google Ads tags, advertising pixels or other non-essential third-party tracking, we will review the privacy and consent requirements before enabling it and update this notice.
