About BudgetShape

Built because budgeting shouldn't feel like accounting.

BudgetShape started with a simple problem: real life runs on mixed schedules, but most budget tools make you think in one fixed period or pile on features you never asked for.

Why it exists

Simple first. Useful always.

Some people are paid weekly. Others fortnightly. Rent might be monthly, groceries weekly and subscriptions scattered across different cycles. BudgetShape is built around that reality.

The aim is not to replace every financial product in your life. It is to give everyday people a clear recurring budget without bank connections, investment tracking, finance jargon or an oversized dashboard.

That principle also guides how the product grows: new features have to make budgeting genuinely clearer before they earn a place.

Simple

The interface should explain itself. If a feature needs a finance qualification to understand, it probably does not belong.

Private

Your budget contains personal information. We minimise unnecessary collection and do not require access to your bank account.

Affordable

The free tier is intended to be genuinely useful. Paid features should add capability, not hold the basic budgeting experience hostage.

Accurate

Mixed frequencies are normalised consistently instead of using shortcuts such as treating four weeks as a month.
